30 positions in recruitment
In August 2008, Shenzhen Municipal Government officially announced the Shen Wai International School project. In September 2011, SWIS opened with a total of two nursery classes and 39 students. Today, SWIS is a well-known international school with 800 students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten to 9th grade, and coming from 29 countries and regions such as: United States, United Kingdom, France, Canada, New Zealand, Germany, Finland, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. As the first Government invested international school in Shenzhen, Shen Wai International School (SWIS) was established to serve students from the expatriate community in Shenzhen and children who are permanent residents of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. SWIS is presently an IB (International Baccalaureate) World school for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and an IB candidate school for the MYP (Middle Years Programme) and DP (Diploma Programme). Being truly a center for international education, SWIS offers a distinctive curriculum which integrates a holistic world view with traditional Chinese language and culture. SWIS now enrolls students from Pre-Kindergarten (4 years old) to Grade 9 in Middle School, and will expand through Grade 12 (Diploma Programme available for Grade 11 and 12) as it continues to grow.
