Job Description ：

1.Native-English-Speaking Homeroom Teachers’ work includes UOI (Unit Of Inquiry) classes, Phonics classes, collaborative meetings, creating classroom & kindergarten environment, childcare and outdoor activities. 2.New international homeroom teachers should learn from experienced teachers and take active part in work trainings and open classes. If more trainings or open classes are needed, he/she should communicate with the PYP coordinator or the Foreign Affairs Assistant. 3. Plan the UOI activities according to the overview，scope and sequence together with other teachers using all kinds of resources. Encourage the students to think, inquire and assess in the activities. 4.The international Homeroom teacher and Chinese head teacher must work collaboratively in planning UOI lessons. This is more helpful in the delivery of UOI to the students. 5.Actively attend English open classes and organize one open class each semester. This doesn’t include open classes on school open day. 6.Develop international-minded people who strive to be: Inquirers, Knowledgeable, Thinkers, Communicators, Principled, Open-minded, Caring, Risk-takers, Balanced, Reflective. (Ten profiles for IB learners) 7. Outdoor physical activities: Homeroom teachers should organize and join the students’ outdoor physical activities an hour per day. 8. Semester schedule can be adjusted by the Kindergarten due to some events. For example, Open Day, Sports Day, Parents Conferences, etc. If so, notices should be given two weeks in advance
